2021 Kangaroo Island Easter Art Exhibition
Friday 2nd – Opening Night (Ticketed event)
Saturday 3rd – 18th April
The KI 2021 Art Exhibition is the largest, and most diverse art show on an island which arguably hosts more artists and exhibitions per head of population than elsewhere in the state. This outstanding display is a highlight of the island's event calendar and was rescheduled for a year due to the summer's bushfires.
In its 33rd year it is supported with judges from the Art Gallery of SA and Guild house. On the Edge is the major themed open-category and over $10,000 in prizes will be offered for current works 2D, 3D and photography.
Spanning all generations of artists including the island’s young people, the exhibition offers diverse encounters with contemporary art practices. 300+ individual exhibits will be on show traversing mediums such as painting, printmaking, ceramics, sculpture, photography and jewellery.
Celebrate with our artists at the official opening and presentation night, 6:30 pm Friday 2 April 2021, this is a ticketed event. Meet the judges 10:30 Saturday 3 April 2021.
