Kingscote
The Kangaroo Island Ligurian Bee Co is a family owned and operated business. Since the 1940’s our family have been keeping bees on Kangaroo Island. These skills are now being passed on to the 4th generation.
Together we aim to share with you the story of the Ligurian Bee Sanctuary, the importance of protecting these bees and why biosecurity is critical to their future.
Certified as an organic honey producer since 2001, The Kangaroo Island Ligurian Bee Co continues to build on our rich history as beekeepers. With over 1000 hives across the island, we carefully select our apiary sites to harvest the special, unique honeys produced from the nectar of the native flora.
Visit us at Island Beehive, home of The Kangaroo Island Ligurian Bee Co, and see where we extract and hand-pack our premium, raw organic honey.
