Seal Bay has launched a brand new behind-the-scenes Research Tour that is guaranteed to become a highlight of any trip to Kangaroo Island. In an Australian first, you will be given exclusive access to the research that is currently underway to help conserve the Australian Sea Lion.
This two hour tour, held at either Sunrise or Twilight, is conducted by our experienced senior guides. Guests will learn about the latest research being conducted, discover how the research equipment is used and learn methods of scanning sea lions and collect and enter data into a scientific app that sends data straight to the South Australian Research & Development Institute (SARDI).
There will also be plenty of time to take photos and enjoy your exclusive access to the park.
