The Hanson Bay Cabins overlook the spectacular coastline of Hanson Bay and the Southern Ocean. They are set amidst 200,000 acres of parks and protected land inside the boundary of Flinders Chase National Park. The cabins are located on a pristine wilderness beach and the Kangaroo Island Wilderness Trail.
There are two modern large one bed cabins completed in 2015. Both cabins are self contained and have queen bed and two fold out single beds. Quality high speed internet makes the cabins an excellent remote work location. It is a short walk to a protected swimming beach.
Wildlife including Tammar Wallabies and Brushtail Possums and many species of birds including white bellied seaeagles can been seen around the cabins. Guided tours are offered most days. Bookings essential. Please see website for details. No pets allowed.
