WIN A KANGAROO ISLAND ESCAPE

You could win a holiday to Kangaroo Island, simply by telling us where you picked up your visitor guide!

The prize includes:

  • 1 x return ferry fare for two adults, two children and a standard vehicle, travelling with SeaLink
  • 2 nights' accommodation and breakfast, staying at the Seafront Hotel in Penneshaw

Entries are open from 1st August 2026 until 31st January 2027 at 5.00 pm. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years and over. The prize will be draw on Monday 1st February 2027, and the winner will be contacted by email shortly after. The prize is valued at $1,200.

Terms and Conditions
  1. The Win a Kangaroo Island Holiday Competition is promoted jointly by Kangaroo Island Tourism Alliance and HWR Media (“the Promoters”).
  2. Entry is free and open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over. Employees of the Promoters and participating prize providers, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
  3. The competition opens at 12.00 am ACST on 1 August 2026 and closes at 5.00 pm ACDT on 31 January 2027.
  4. To enter, eligible entrants must complete the online entry form and tell us where they collected their Kangaroo Island Visitor Guide. Only complete and valid entries will be accepted. One entry per person.
  5. One winner will receive:
    1. One return SeaLink ferry fare for two adults, two children and one standard vehicle; and
    2. Two nights’ accommodation, including breakfast, at the Seafront Hotel in Penneshaw.
  6. The total prize is valued at approximately $1,200. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. Any costs not expressly included in the prize are the winner’s responsibility.
  7. Travel and accommodation are subject to availability and the booking conditions of SeaLink and the Seafront Hotel. Blackout periods may apply. The winner should confirm available travel dates directly with the prize providers before making other arrangements.
  8. The winner will be selected by random draw at 12:30pm on Monday, 1 February 2027, at 24 North Terrace, Penneshaw SA 5222. Entrants do not need to be present at the draw.
  9. The winner will be notified by email within seven days of the draw. The winner’s first initial and surname will also be published on this webpage within 30 days of the draw.
  10. The winner must claim the prize within 14 days of being notified. If the prize is not claimed within that period, the Promoters may conduct a redraw at the same location.
  11. By entering, entrants consent to the Promoters collecting and using their personal information to administer the competition and contact the winner, in accordance with the Promoters’ applicable privacy policies.
  12. The Promoters reserve the right to verify entries and disqualify any entrant who submits an incomplete, misleading, fraudulent or otherwise invalid entry. The Promoters’ decision is final.
