The KI Dragonfly is a privately owned, quirky homestay located in Kingscote. You will feel relaxed and welcome the moment you step in the door. It's ideal for travellers looking for affordable accommodation without having to forgo the comforts and convenience of home.
The main house has four bedrooms that are booked separately (like a hotel): one twin room (with two single beds) and three double rooms (each with a queen size bed). Your hosts live on site and are available to help you plan your stay. The fully equipped kitchen, separate lounge, two spacious bathrooms (each with two showers and two toilets) and the outdoor areas are shared by guests. Laundry facilities are available for a fee, plus there is excellent wifi, and a selection of books by Kangaroo Island authors.
There is ample space in our outdoor area for a BBQ, to chill out, read, relax. The patch of lawn is ideal for for a game of Fiska or Bocce. We have a rather large raised vegetable garden - guests are welcome to help themselves to any herbs growing in the garden, and are encouraged to devour tomatoes, loquats, and other produce when in season.
For couples or lone travellers who prefer their privacy, The Cubby House (a fully self contained cabin in the backyard) is the ideal room choice for you.
