Penneshaw & Dudley Peninsula
Strawbridge Point lies directly opposite the American River settlement and forms the sandy eastern side of the inlet.
Sweeping south of the point for 1.7 km is a low energy sandy beach fronted by tidal flats, which widen from 100 m at the point to 350 m at the southern end.
The deeper tidal channel fronts the flats. The Island Beach Road terminates at the point, with 4WD access possible along the beach. A small tidal creek also drains across the tip of the point.
