Kangaroo Island, South Australia

... just Across the Water, but a World Away!

Think of an island with 509km of Coastline & 155km from the East Coast to the West Coast. With native bushland, wildlife, adventure & exploring. Where pristine beaches, local wines & sunsets are on your doorstep. You'll need longer than you think!

"There really aren't enough adjectives to accurately describe the beauty of Kangaroo Island. In fact, words can almost spoil the moment. Even photos don't do this wildly gorgeous destination justice". Isaac Bober, Symmetry, Australia.

Open Visitor Information Guide

2014 South Australia Accredited
Visitor Information Centre Conference

Did you know Accredited Visitor Information Centres (VICs) play an important role in South Australia’s tourism industry. VICs make a significant economic contribution to tourism, particularly in regional areas, by providing information to visitors that encourages them to stay longer, spend more money, experience more attractions and revisit a region.
South Australia has 45 Accredited VICs which are spread throughout the state and by holding these annual conferences, it give each region a chance to visit, learn and promote one another.
The Kangaroo Island Gateway Visitor Information Centre hosted the 2014 Conference on Kangaroo Island this May.
This would have not been possible without our below sponsors:

GOLD SPONSORS
South Australian Tourism Commission & SeaLink Kangaroo Island
