Sunday 17th April 09.00am – 1.00pm

From 9am join the community coming together to celebrate Easter Sunday, with a Market. A great day out in the sun, peruse some of the market stalls, handmade Kangaroo Island products, gifts and more.

The Rattle Tree Project

5th-21st April, Tuesdays, Wednesday & Thursdays 11am-12.30pm

The Rattle Tree Project is a community participation based, instructional weaving series of events intended to produce a kinetic sculpture for the Kangaroo Island Scultpure Trail.

TICKETS: ​Tickets are not required for these delightful weaving instructional sessions. However, we strongly encourage you to register your interest by claiming a ticket by emailing kisculpturetrail@hotmail.com

Kingscote Farmers & Artisans Market

Sunday 24th April from 10.00am – 1.00pm

Now located at the Kingscote Wharf precinct, the Kingscote Farmers and Artisans market is now a hive of activity to stock up on produce, and artisan products from across the Island.  From 10am on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.


Citizen Science, Passport to Recovery

Saturday 30th April 11.30am-2.30pm

Passport to Recovery enables locals and visitors to Kangaroo Island to directly contribute to environmental conservation of the island. The citizen science projects will cover a range of species and ecosystems allowing visitors to learn, explore and discover.

The Kangaroo Island Passport to Recovery Community Launch Event will be held on Saturday the 30th of April at the Kangaroo Island Airport. The event will consist of informative stalls and activities, food providers and a family friendly atmosphere in order to involve the whole community in the program.
