I am owner/manager of Raptor Domain, situated at Seal Bay. Raptor Domain is an Environmental Education and Rehabilitation Centre for Birds of Prey.
We are strong supporters of tourism growth on the island and pride ourselves in having a world class attraction, listed as no 2 of 59 attractions by Trip Advisor.
We have been operating here on the island for ten years.
I am a strong supporter of the open all year project.
I am a member of TKI, KIIBA and AKI. I have structured my business to cater for my time away to attend workshops and meetings. I am a strong supporter of businesses and our community here on the island.

Chad Wyatt – Board Member
Initially my qualifications are as a Mechanical Engineer. In this capacity I started at Kangaroo Island Lodge in 2005 as Duty/Maintenance Manager when my introduction to Tourism on Kangaroo Island began. In December 2007 our family started Kangaroo Island Transfers which we still operate. In May 2013 we purchased the Franchise for Budget Rent a Car Kangaroo Island where I am now General Manager. I am enthusiastic and keen to enhance my tourism experiences by serving on the TKI Board.

Lyn Savage – Board Member
My aim is to asset wherever possible to increase awareness of our Island and its produce, art, scenery, wildlife and generate excitement about what a great place it is to call home. To that end a new business has already been registered ‘Kangaroo Island Magical Mystery Tours’ whereby the clients get to choose their destination. The business will operate in a similar manner to a taxi. I will always work hard, put my hand up to help whenever possible and will come up with out of the box suggestions to increase our visitor numbers. My vision is to assist the creation of new and innovative tourist attractions to attract a whole new demographic of people. My vision is to tap into our unique and rugged history and develop true relationship building activities between locals and visitors so that there is greater incentive for return visits. Test me! You won’t be disappointed.

I own and operate Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari and Kangaroo Island Wildlife Safari. I first begun in the tourism business on KI 26 years ago with Great Southern Island Tours, this was the first full 2 day bus tour on Kangaroo Island that we based out of Penneshaw. We initiated the first backpackers at the the west end of KI which is now Flinders Chase farm stay.
I have an a business back ground in real estate and marketing. We are currently expanding our KI businesses with the new Swim with dolphin and seals in Penneshaw and expanding our bus fleet to help cater for local and tourism demands that are every increasing.
I have been nominated for a position on the TKI board of which I believe I can bring my skills and business know how to help where needed. I hope you consider my application and nomination.

Currently manager of Bay of Shoals Wines, a position held for the last 6 years. I am actively involved in the community and currently hold the position as secretary of the Kingscote Golf Club (4 years) and committee member of the KI Racing Club (2years).
Prior to this I worked for Myer for 29 years in various management roles including Regional Merchandise Manager VIC/SA. At the winery I have high exposure to tourists through the cellar door and accommodation. We have always actively promoted the island when promoting our wines at interstate shows with the support of both TKI and Sealink.

Julie-Anne Briscoe - Board Member
I have been in the tourism and travel industry now for 32 years with the last 19 years at SeaLink in sales, marketing and promotional roles. I feel I have established many good networks and friendships on and off island and have been instrumental in helping to raise the profile of Kangaroo Island as a tourism destination in both the domestic and international trade and consumer markets over the years. I have been a Tourism KI Board member since 2001 and also chaired the Board for two years. My passion to promote Kangaroo Island will never wane and I believe that I can continue to add value to the Tourism KI membership and the marketing of Kangaroo Island by remaining on the board.
