Kangaroo Island Ocean Safari (KIOS) is a family run tour company operating from the Christmas Cove Marina on the edge of Penneshaw on beautiful Kangaroo Island.
KIOS takes you on an awesome 75 minute coastal and wildlife tour visiting places like Dolphin Cove, Kangaroo Head and Snapper Point. Travel in their seven and a half metre Gemini Waverider that carries up to 12 passengers
Along the way you can encounter pods of Bottle Nose and Common dolphins, often with their baby calves swimming up beside the boat. Colonies of New Zealand fur seals and Australian sea lions inhabit the coast. You also have the opportunity to witness Southern Right whales (in season) as they pass through these waters on their annual migration. Seabirds fly overhead.
The tour departs several times a day and life jackets are provided. KIOS can carry people from three to 93 and can also tailor an extended private charter for you. Enquire today about your needs.
