Raptor Domain on Kangaroo Island offers a unique, one hour educational and entertaining experience, displaying birds of prey in an "in flight" demonstration. The Birds of Prey display gives you the rare opportunity to get close to these majestic birds and gain an understanding and appreciation of them and their role in the environment. Meet an array of birds including Jedda, the majestic Wedge Tailed Eagle and enjoy a delightful interactive experience with Casper the friendly Barn Owl and Banjo and Clancy, the laughing Kookaburras, a favourite with the kids. The Birds of Prey display is held at 11.30am and 2.30pm seven days a week. Now you can also join us daily at 1pm for a fantastic 45 minute educational, "hands on" reptile presentation at the new "Fang-Tastic" reptile display. Learn about some of their amazing adaptations, hunting techniques and much more. You can purchase souvenirs, snacks, drinks, ice-creams, and tea/coffee and other delicious food from Talons Food Van.
