The Kangaroo Island Gateway Visitor Information Centre is situated in Penneshaw, the arrival and departure point for the Sealink Ferry.
The centre offers information on accommodation, tours and things to see and do whilst on the island. We offer a range of local produce, books, maps and interesting souvenirs and gifts.
The central feature of the interpretative display at the centre is the original Frenchman's Rock inscribed in 1803 during the voyage of discovery by Nicolas Baudin.
Off street parking is available for caravans and coaches.
