Father Kelly's Boots

Penneshaw 11th May

In the 1970's Father Pat Kelly walked around the entire coast of Kangaroo Island. He did this in separate stages rather than one sweeping go like Tom & Jake and published a book on his adventure.

The boots worn by Father Kelly are now on display at the Penneshaw Museum. Tom stopped by the museum to view the boots and even got the chance to hold them and try them on.

The boots were very simple compared to Tom's and were in remarkable good conditions considering the abuse they had suffered.
