This section of the Island takes in some beautiful sheltered bays, dramatic coastal cliffs, farmland and even an abalone farm.

Large pods of dolphins are usually seen at Dashwood Bay (pictured below). You can swim with the dolphins here on a Kangaroo Island Marine Tours ‘Swim with the Dolphins' tour, which departs Emu Bay. 

Emu Bay and Stokes Bay are each home to many accommodation houses, whilst the coastline between is limited to just a select few properties including Smith Bay Hideaway, Fillmore's Lombardy (Smith Bay) and Cape Cassini Wilderness Retreat.
